With the aid of a feather UK artist Brian Pike uses the natural colors of sand to create his paintings on recycled plywood. There is a wide range of variety in his work from seascapes and portraiture to landscapes like our rugged mountain scene.
Our picture measures 21 inches by 30 inches. There is water damage on the right margin and the corners are all bumped/chipped to some degree. The artist’s label is affixed to the back and the sand pigment is still well attached. The flaws could be hidden with a proper frame (which we don’t have) so this piece is being sold as found.
